State Route 81 Former state routes in Arizona









state route 81 state highway in eastern arizona served lyman lake state park 1962–2003, traversing 1.65 miles (2.66 km) start @ u.s. route 180 / u.s. route 191 between st. johns , springerville lyman lake. arizona department of transportation turned road on arizona state parks department in june 2003 contained within state park.


sr 81 shortest state highway in arizona before state route 280 established in 1976. sr 81, while short, served 1 of original state routes 1927. route major highway stretching douglas safford. in 1934 took on old stretch of state route 71 north sanders, entire route became part of u.s. route 666 in 1938, , subsequently renumbered u.s. route 191 in 1992.
