camp patmos, christian youth camp, located on northeast side of island. camp patmos purchased in 1952 nativity b.v.m. parish of cleveland site of faith-based summer camp youth. chapel built in 1959 , pool added in 1968. 20 new cabins built campers. camp patmos has added many more buildings , programs since including rec center, 200-foot (61 m) dock, pophouse, guest cabins , continues run christian summer camp , retreat programs youth 4th thru 12th grade. erie county 4h camp located on north side of island.
