the expresso service featured version control, compare, cell watch , integrated online chat tools. compare feature allows 2 spreadsheets viewed side-by-side differences highlighted , color-coded type of change: formula or value.


cell watch automatically sends email when designated cell value or formula changed member of community. details of spreadsheet changes recorded , become permanently attached document provide audit trail.


excel only

expresso exclusively designed support excel , not offer generic or browser-based spreadsheet. excel users can optionally download , install add-in called expresso add-in excel allows upload, open , edit expresso spreadsheets excel. further add-in allows spreadsheets taken offline perform work on independent of internet connection.
