career

campbell-ryce played handful of games southend united in 05/06 season during loan deal rotherham united. however, deal turned sour, , left him in limbo rotherham recalled him , sent him colchester united first team football. tricky winger has played charlton athletic, chesterfield (where scored once in ldv vans trophy against macclesfield), wimbledon , colchester , leyton orient.

campbell-ryce joined southend in summer of 2006 after deal agreed between southend , rotherham. both southend , colchester promoted championship @ end of 2005–06 season, , campbell-ryce had played both clubs during season, had unusual privilege of touring both towns on open-top bus victory parades on successive days.

in august in 2007, southend rejected £250,000 bid barnsley campbell-ryce, though completed move barnsley on deadline day undisclosed fee.

he scored first barnsley goal on 29 december 2007 in 2–2 draw southampton, cutting in right , unleashing rising piledriver top corner. on 26 january 2008, campbell-ryce scored winner in barnsley s 1–0 away win against former club southend in fourth round of fa cup.

in october, campbell-ryce signed new three-year deal @ oakwell, keeping him barnsley until summer of 2011.

on 19 january 2010, campbell-ryce signed two-and-a-half year deal fellow championship side bristol city undisclosed fee. made debut in 0–6 loss against cardiff city on 26 january. former manager keith millen used campbell-ryce wingback in 3–5–2 formation. scored first goal club in 3–0 win on cardiff city, under year after signing. campbell-ryce established himself in first team, playing regularly until millen replaced derek mcinnes. under mcinnes management, campbell-ryce started 2 first-team games.

in order playing time in first-team, campbell-ryce joined league 1 side leyton orient on loan until end of season, second spell @ club. on 10 march 2012, campbell-ryce made debut in 2–0 loss against tranmere rovers , scored first goal since return in 2–1 loss against hartlepool united on 28 april 2012. released bristol city on 1 may 2012.

sheffield united

on 19 may 2014, campbell-ryce signed two-year deal sheffield united becomes effective on 1 july 2014 when contract notts county expires; campbell-ryce offered new contract magpies, number of other clubs, turned down in favour of united. on 26 february 2015, campbell-ryce joined former club notts county on loan rest of season option of recall after 28 days. campbell-ryce spent rest of 2015–16 season on loan @ chesterfield, before being released blades.
