1984-1985: dmr information system development guides

the first publication of methods @ source of macroscope 2 information system development guides : part 1 managing project , part 2 developing system. same books published in french in 1984. these 2 methods known dmr methods , later attributed version number 1.0.

the 2 methods based on fundamentals or principles established general approach. methods described in terms of processes, techniques , deliverables. main approach system design integrating french merise data , american gane , sarson process modelling methods.

1987-1990: information system delivery series

1990-1996: dmr macroscope

research , development project labelled le macroscope informatique , leads product called dmr macroscope , re-branded in 2002 macroscope . program initiated dmr group inc., along province of quebec (canada), industrial partners, research centers partners, , user groups contributed financially , logistically. initial objective of program develop set of integrated products, is, methods, software tools, training program in order improve development , usage of information technology . in 1996 research note, gartner writes:

1994-1995: p+online method

a first commercial product under dmr macroscope umbrella, called p+ online released in 1994 , first release display version number, 2.2. project gradually releases following product components under new commercial names:

dmr productivitycentre (renaming of productivityplus)
dmr architecturelab (renaming of architecture plus)
dmr resultstation (renaming of benefits plus)
dmr strategyforum (renaming of strategy plus)

1996-1998: dmr macroscope 3.0 - 3.1

released in 1996, dmr macroscope 3.0 first publication of methodology in html format, mitigated success. version replaced in 1998 version 3.1.

2001: dmr macroscope 3.5

release of version 3.5. domain names lose dmr prefixes, , managementsuite added dmr macroscope product.

2002-2011: macroscope 4.0 - 4.9

release of 4.0 in 2002. re branding of company fujitsu consulting , product suite loses dmr prefix , branded macroscope . successive versions 4.5 4.9, , interim updates released @ pace of approximately 1 per year.

2012: macroscope 5.0

release of 5.0 in 2012. domain names changed simpler terminology. product offered service or hosted version specific clients.

2014: macroscope 5.2

the enterprise architecture approach substantively revised.
