there has been mill on river avon @ staverton since @ least 11th century, when mentioned in domesday book. on centuries mill has been used corn , fulling woollen cloth; later site became rubber factory belonging stephen moulton. of 2015 location of nestlé breakfast cereal factory, operated subsidiary cereal partners uk (cpuk). large, landmark chimney @ factory removed in november 2011.
