state route 84a or known today west miracle mile in tucson, arizona, designated state route decade in mid-1950s mid-1960s connect state route 84 u.s. route 80 , 89. alternative route used in-town route connect future freeway downtown tucson. when interstate 10 in tucson area being constructed, route designation of temporary i-10. after i-10 built, route dropped state highway list , turned on city of tucson. used different state route, sr 77.
