in 2012, alex smith, nyzzy s current manager facilitated collaborative music project entitled “hiphop4thecity” (aka city project). nyzzy wrote , recorded chorus resulting song , music video. project showcased region s undiscovered talent while simultaneously bringing awareness community involvement, arts, , young people able community s civic pride when collaborate , work together. sparked renewed sense of civic pride within young population of fort wayne, indiana attracted attention of national economic development publications, blogs , has inspired other civic initiatives such annual city summit.
