Uses Cyclododecane

cyclododecane intermediate in production of flame retardants, detergents, , other chemicals.

cyclododecane used volatile binding medium, temporary binder sealing , conservation of friable , structurally weak materials, e.g. during excavation , transport of archaeological objects , in art restoration, e.g. protect water-sensitive parts during cleaning. due relatively slow evaporation in comparison other volatile binding mediums layer can last several weeks. pure material has used not leave residue. cyclododecane can applied in molten state or dissolved in nonpolar organic solvent. other volatile binding mediums in use camphene, tricyclene , limits menthol.[1]
