an improved exercising device exercising legs of user includes frame member lever arm having 1 end pivotably attached thereto. lever arm extends downwardly portion of frame member pivotably connected, , pair of foot-engaging force transferring members mounted on lower end of lever arm. cable has 1 end pivotably connected near lower end of lever arm, passes around eccentrically mounted pulley , has other end connected weights. user lifts lower portions of legs, lever arm pivoted pull cable , weights attached thereto, thereby strengthening knee muscles of user. eccentrically mounted pulley varies resistance movement of user s lower legs increasing resistance , decreasing resistance in sinusoidal manner lower legs lifted pivot lever arm , lift weights. patent 4256302 a, 1981.
