however, boom in popularity of port has caused house price inflation both in port , surrounding areas, people buy homes live in, or second or holiday homes. has meant significant numbers of locals cannot afford buy property in area, prices on 10 times average salary of around £15,000. has led population decline.


plans build skatepark in padstow have been proposed , funds being raised create @ recreation ground (wheal jubilee parc).
