jørgensen acquaintance of inventor peter l. jensen had established magnavox in 1927. jensen proposed jørgensen use name telavox.

in 1929, jørgensen bought factory @ apollovej 31 in vanløse. company had established production of radios. company known high quality of craftsmanship , producing cabinets other radio manufacturers, including phillips (in 1930). magnus jørgensen died in 1932. clemen , magnus jørgensen s younger brother, furniture-maker , had joined company in 1927, took on position head of cabinet division.

the factory expanded in 1937. had 250 employees in 1943. jørgensen designed , constructed wind turbine placed on factory roof. wind turbine, had 10 kw maximum output, produced electricity many years. hope manufacture of wind turbines future source of income company prototype never commercialized.

on 1 april 1952, sold to-r, danish radio , television manufacturer.
